Description
This is my entry (finally finished, hopefully on time) for and her contest for (link for contest information here: [link] )
In this contest, we were to create a scene depicting a historical moment in hyrulian legend. I chose the Birth of our beloved King of Gerudo. There are multiple people holding that baby, yes, I've had many people ask. The Gerudo People all come together to touch and speak blessings to this child who would lead them from the poverty to happiness. Demise is not present here, and he was only just born (as is clear from the matted, gross-looking hair...) The Gerudo raise the child to the heavens, begging the goddesses, Din (who created the depicted red earth in the background), Nayru (who created the law of the land, depicted by the blue sky), and Farore (depicted by the newborn child) to bring them happiness through this newborn king. Poor thing; that's a lot of pressure....
The cloth he's "wearing" (and I use that loosely) is the very same as the cloth draped between his armor in OoT and TP (seen here: [link]
and here: [link](Ocarina_of_Time).png).
First Oil Pastel piece ever done, worked for quite a long time on it, so no harsh critiques, please? (in fact, I originally intended Oil Paint, but decided against it... I wonder what it would have looked like?)

As good a guess as any. I like it.
